The interior feels like sitting inside your nagymama’s remote cabin. Drawings and photos cover the walls, handwritten menus cling to pillars, and a deep sense of comfort fills the space. You can almost hear a fireplace crackling.

Despite the coziness, the operation runs like a machine. It seems to serve the entirety of Columbia University—and for good reason.

The desserts are the star. The coffee is solid, but unremarkable. Every dessert feels like a warm hug. The most recommended—and deservedly so—is the chocolate cheesecake. Decadent for the morning? Perhaps. Completely satisfying? Absolutely.
